Urban Design and Planning
Syntony Design Collaborative implements sound planning strategies for a wide range of municipal projects, including infrastructure, community engagement, building code analysis, and policy initiatives. We work with our clients to create innovative city features including public space, infrastructure, as well as transportation, landscapes, and community accommodations. Our goal is to create sustainable and flexible spaces that improve the quality of life for people living and working in our urban environments.
Community development
Syntony Design Collaborative facilitates the creation of healthy and authentic communities by providing them with the knowledge and skills to bring their shared vision to life. We specialize in working with under-served communities and local municipalities to comprehensively address all equity issues plaguing our cities today. We focus on active research and engagement at the local community level that gets people involved in collective self-development and catalyzes collaborative change. Syntony Design Collaborative facilitates initiatives and encourages on-site and on-line dialogues for on-going inquiry and design on issues relevant to the co-creation of sustainable design solutions and synergetic collaboration will all stakeholders involved.
Historic Preservation
Syntony Design Collaborative brings over 20 years of experience with historic preservation in urban environments and specifically 10 years in the City of Atlanta to every project. We specialize in working with our clients to understand and leverage the municipal codes and regulations to not only protect designated historic structures and sites but realize their vision for future use. The firm is especially passionate about protecting our urban cultural resources and infrastructure while ensuring their availability for future generations.
